What is Energy Work or Energy Medicine?
Spiritual healing – Energy Healing – Faith Healing – Distance Healing – Contact Healing
Energy Medicine is a branch of alternative medicine or complementary therapy that works to align and balance the mind, body and soul connection.
Energy Medicine utilizes techniques from time-honored traditions such as acupuncture, yoga, kinesiology, and qi gong. Flow, balance, and harmony can be non-invasively restored and maintained within an energy system by tapping, massaging, pinching, twisting, or connecting specific energy points (acupoints) on the skin; by tracing or swirling the hand over the skin along specific energy pathways; through exercises or postures designed for specific energetic effects; by focused use of the mind to move specific energies; and/or by surrounding an area with healing energies.
“Conventional medicine, at its foundation, focuses on the biochemistry of cells, tissue, and organs. Energy Medicine, at its foundation, focuses on the energy fields of the body that organize and control the growth and repair of cells, tissue, and organs. Changing impaired energy patterns may be the most efficient, least invasive way to improve the vitality of organs, cells, and psyche.” – David Feinstein, Ph.D.
Where Does Pain Come From?
Pain can stem from a physical source or an obvious emotional one, like a death in the family. But, what many people are just now realizing is that physical pain stems from stress. It originates from blocked and locked away trauma or the stuffing down of emotional energy. The energy is never released. It has no where to go, so it festers and festers for years into cancer or severe stomach issues. The energy pathways are not running smoothly, nourishing the organs and the rest of the body. As a society, we have to start acknowledging our emotions and the affect that they have on our bodies and health.
How Does Energy Medicine Work?
Have you ever been sitting in a public area, happy and carefree, and suddenly you feel ill or just ticked off? You wonder where this sudden change of energy and emotion came from? You turn around and realize that there’s an angry couple that just walked in the door. You FELT their energy, because they came into your energy field.
Energy Medicine works on the subtle bodies that have been studied for centuries in Chinese Medicine, Shamanism, Reiki, and other alternative therapies. For example, everyone possesses an emotional body and an energetic body that resides just outside of the physical body that we know. With energy medicine we are able to tap into this mind, body, spirit connection; even modern Western medicine is starting to take notice of this holistic health approach.
Who Can Relate To This?
More and more you hear stories from your friends of how they’d gone to their MD to find a cure for some oddball ailment that they were dealing with. But, to no avail, their doctor couldn’t help them. In fact, they may even been told that they were “imagining it”. And, through a recommendation they try a Chinese herbalist or they experience Reiki, and low and behold that pesky sickness is gone! The friend is astounded, and when they tell their doctor about the miraculous cure, he/she says it’s coincidence. Well, thank goodness the rest of us are persistent enough to keep exploring these little miracles!
Can Energy Medicine Work For Me?

Staying present and mindful, clients can now work to keep the energy moving. The world becomes a different place, and a greater sense of love and abundance moves in.
